The woman was found guilty of having swindled an elderly man out of €95,000 over the course of four months in 2013.

For the young woman who sought recourse against her first verdict, the second trial definitely wasn't worth it. After she was sentenced to a 15-month prison sentence with probation in the first trial, the sentence was extended to 20 months with probation in the second verdict.

The defendant will also have to pay back the money she duped the elderly man into giving her. She was ordered to pay damages of €95,000.

The woman was found guilty of having swindled an elderly man out of almost €100,000 by telling him that she needed the money to pay off debts and to repair her car.
