Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after thieves targeted a hotel reception in Wahlhausen, stealing a cash register in the process.
The burglary took place at around 7am on Friday morning, as two unknown individuals parked near the hotel situated on An der Deckt and broke into the building. They searched several rooms and stole numerous items, including the cash register from the reception desk.
Police have asked that anyone who noticed suspicious activity or vehicles in the area around the hotel contact the Our Valley police station on (+352) 244 83 1000 or by email at police.ourdall@police.etat.lu.
Other break-ins were reported on Thursday and Friday.
In Ospern, thieves gained entry to a house on the main road via a window and took valuables such as jewellery and watches.
On Thursday night, a campervan was broken into at a rest spot in Berchem. The thief broke open the door and stole a tablet, cash, and a cosmetics bag.
A building site on Rue Dicks in the capital was also targeted by robbers on Friday morning, stealing a number of tools and clothing items at 6.30am.
Investigations have been launched into all incidents.
