The driver of the second vehicle suffered critical injuries, but could still be transported to the hospital for treatment. All help came too late for the woman, who died at the scene of the accident.
The exact circumstances of the incident remain unclear, which is why the crime scene investigation unit of the judicial police has been tasked with the enquiry.
