The coalition party wants to continue its diplomatic approach, fraction leader Josée Lorsché underlined. When it comes to a tax reform, the Greens believe the time is right as soon as the pandemic has been fought off.

Party officials further noted that the country has so far prevailed over the crisis, but underlined that caution is still necessary. It is now of upmost importance to improve the pandemic response mechanisms, given that there may be new ones in the future, Loschée stated.

When it comes to the Waringo report, the Greens believe that the document has helped clear up some problem areas, but not all of them. They therefore support the idea of expanding the review process to the entire crisis management.

Combatting climate change remains the biggest focus of the party, as well as the greatest challenge of our time. Increasing frequencies of natural disasters are not unfortunate coincidences, the Greens concluded.

Party officials also addressed the criticism from the Christian Social People's Party (CSV), who argued that the government has no respect for the Chamber. Officials refuted those claims, stating that never before have there been so many joint sessions and such an "emancipated" Chamber.
