The incident transpired at around 12.15pm on Tuesday when a van collided head-on with a car at the junction of the CR132, situated near Brouch/Biwer, intersecting with the N14 from Weydig.
The force of the impact not only caused the van to topple several times, knocking down road signs in its trajectory, but also led to it ultimately landing on its side in the middle of a field.
Preliminary reports from the scene indicate that both vehicles sustained significant damage, and two individuals were injured in the accident. The local fire brigade promptly arrived at the scene to provide necessary medical assistance to the injured parties.
