As per the police report, the driver lost control of his car for reasons yet to be determined and crashed into a tree. The driver became trapped in the vehicle, requiring emergency services to free him. Following an evaluation by emergency medical services present at the scene, he was immediately transported to the hospital due to his severe injuries.
In the night of Saturday to Sunday, three additional accidents were recorded. In each one, at least one person was injured.
At approximately 6.30 PM, a motorcyclist fell from his motorcycle between Remerschen and Burmerange. At 8.20 PM, a cyclist was involved in a collision in Mamer, where an emergency doctor was also present at the scene. Around 2.40 PM, there was another car collision between Garnich and Hivange.
