
The police received reports of people causing unrest at a BBQ spot in Dudelange and later disappearing towards the centre of town in a car registered in France. A police patrol was able to track and stop the car on rue de Kayl. One person jumped out of the car and ran off, while the other three passengers were taken to the police station. The absconder was arrested shortly afterwards.
During the search of the car, a small amount of marijuana, scales and a baseball bat were seized. Additionally, it turned out the car wasn't insured and the driver had no licence, and a drug test came back positive. The car was seized and a report taken.
Shortly after midnight, a driver attracted the attention of a patrol in Salzhaff. When the police tried to stop the driver for a check on route d'Esch, he tried to flee, but was apprehended after a short pursuit.
It turned out the driver had a limited driving ban, the car was not properly registered and the driver failed an alcohol test. The car was seized and a report was taken.
