Don't forget us a.s.b.l.Uncovered costs should also be paid back retroactively

RTL Today
Lawyer Frank Rollinger, who represents the non-profit organisation from the hospitality sector, issued a statement to declare that the financial support from the government remains insufficient.

The open letter, which is addressed at Minister for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises Lex Delles, emphasises that the crisis did not only start in June last year, but long before that.

The organisation therefore demands that the uncovered costs of businesses will also be compensated retroactively to the months of lockdown.

In the letter, Rollinger also underlines that the payment will in fact not be a matter of "aids", but rather of reparations considering the closure was enforced from the top down. Furthermore, the lawyer enquires about the numbers on which Minister Delles bases the amount of support that will be given out.

A respective bill is currently being discussed by the Chamber commission in charge, but still needs to be put up for vote.
