CoronavirusUncertain times for indoor playgrounds

RTL Today
Usually, the beginning of autumn is considered the start to the season for soft play and indoor playgrounds...

However, a significant number of businesses have not yet reopened their doors again. Others are trying their best to adapt to the situation.

The Ninja Park in Foetz usually welcomes between 400 and 500 guests per day. Currently, only 10% of these former rates find their way to the amusement centre. Due to the coronavirus measures, a maximum of 55 people are allowed inside at the same time, which used to be 130.

Guests have to wear a mask until they get onto the trampolines. Every two hours, the entire area is closed off so that the team can sanitise the room. Additional ventilation systems have been installed and the roof windows have been redesigned to open up. In short, many additional costs with significantly fewer guests.

The indoor playground in Bertrange has meanwhile decided to remain closed, as the infection numbers have spiked again since the reopening of schools. Fortunately enough, the business’ landlord decided to waive rent costs for the entire duration of the pandemic.
