Supermarkets near Luxembourg City's central station were targeted twice on Sunday. In the first incident, two men made off with various goods, but were caught and arrested by a patrol. A report and a non-resident control note were drawn up. In the late afternoon, another theft took place in a grocery shop, where a man helped himself to food and drink. He too was arrested, and a report was filed.

Three burglaries

Two homes were also burgled on Sunday. Around midday, a single-family home was broken into on Rue de Noertzange in Dudelange. The intruders entered through a basement window and rifled through the property in search of valuables. Among the items taken was perfume.

Late on Sunday evening, a multi-family house on Rue Mathias Koener in Schifflange was broken into, with a television among the items stolen.

Early on Monday morning, another burglary was reported in the Gare district of the capital, with two pairs of sunglasses taken. Investigations have been opened in all the cases.
