Around 10.30 p.m. on Wednesday, police checked on a car in the industrial zone ZARE Sommet in Esch-sur-Alzette, in which four people were sitting. Officers were able to confiscate minor amounts of marijuana, as well as two gas pistols.
Also on Wednesday evening, an adolescent was robbed near Diekirch train station. His phone was taken, but he did not suffer any injuries. Both presumed culprits were identified and apprehended soon after, the phone being quickly returned to its rightful owner.
Another incident occurred in Strassen on Wednesday evening. In rue des Ardennes, two unidentified people approached one of the residents in front of his door to ask for directions. When the man tried to help out, he was immediately attacked. The aggressors stole his watch and escaped the scene in the direction of rue du Cimetière.
