Besides the two injured pedestrians, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) also reported a car crash in Aspelt.

At around 5.38pm, a car hit a pedestrian in Olm. The injured person was treated by the rescue services from Mamer and Kayl.

Another pedestrian was injured after being hit by a car in Foetz shortly before 8pm. An ambulance from Esch-sur-Alzette and the fire brigade from Mondercange were on site.

A third accident occurred in Aspelt at around 3am. A car overturned, leaving one person injured. An ambulance from Bettembourg and the fire brigades from Aspelt and Frisange were on site.
