First, officers set up on Route de Longwy in Luxembourg City. Out of 70 drivers, there was not a single one who had consumed too much alcohol.
Next, police moved towards Route de Thionville in Howald, where they stopped 63 drivers. One of them had too much to drink and was subsequently fined.
The police then installed a final check point on Route d’Arlon in the capital. Out of 45 drivers, one was above the allowed alcohol limit and thus received a fine.
The police did not revoke any licenses on Saturday.
