
Emergency services received reports of two separate accidents on Thursday. Shortly after midday, a person was struck on Avenue Gaston Diderich in the Belair district of Luxembourg City. Paramedics and firefighters were quickly on the scene to assist the injured individual.
Later in the afternoon, at around 3.30pm, two cars collided on the CR348 between Warken and Burden. Emergency responders from the northern region, including ambulance and fire crews, attended the scene. One person was injured as a result of the crash.
Meanwhile, another incident occurred on the CR165 between Kayl and Noertzange, where overheating brakes on a tractor caused hay bales to catch fire. According to the Automobile Club Luxembourg (ACL) traffic information, the road was closed for a period as firefighters tackled the blaze. The tractor driver was unharmed.
