
A serious accident occurred on the N12 on Monday afternoon between Esch-sur-Sûre and Büderscheid. According to initial reports, a driver lost control of their vehicle shortly after exiting the tunnel on the N12 towards Esch-sur-Sûre, in a slight left-hand bend.
The car left the road and overturned several times before coming to a stop in some roadside undergrowth. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), two people were injured in the crash.
Firefighters from Goesdorf and Wiltz, as well as ambulance crews from Wiltz and Redange-sur-Attert, were deployed to the scene, along with an air rescue helicopter.
