Firefighters were first called out shortly before 6.30pm on Monday to tackle a vegetation fire on Rue de Bonnevoie in Itzig. Emergency crews from Hesperange and Luxembourg City were deployed to the scene, and no one was injured in the incident.
A second fire broke out during the night at around 3.30am in a basement on Rue de Stavelot in Weimerskirch.
Firefighters from both Luxembourg City and Steinsel were mobilised to bring the blaze under control. Once again, no injuries were reported.
