
In the first incident, police received reports of a motorist driving erratically through Rue de Diekirch in Stegen, heading towards Medernach. A police patrol intercepted the vehicle and administered a breathalyser test, which was positive. The driver was issued a temporary driving ban.
Later that night, in Wasserbillig, police observed a vehicle parked on the side of the road with the driver slumped over the steering wheel. When approached by officers, the driver exited the car abruptly. The police noted the driver appeared highly intoxicated and administered a breathalyser test, which also came back positive. The driver was subsequently issued a temporary driving ban.
