A police patrol was dispatched to Belvaux on Wednesday evening, following an accident near a service station.
Upon reaching the scene, the officers discovered that both drivers involved had been drinking. They were asked to take breathalyser tests, which came back positive in both cases.
It was found that one of the drivers had surpassed the legal alcohol limit, resulting in an immediate revocation of their driving licence. The police filed an official report documenting the details of the accident.
In a separate incident, occurring between Wednesday night and Thursday, another driving licence was revoked for driving under the influence in Wilwerdange.
