Police reported two break-ins overnight from Thursday to Friday. In both cases, the perpetrators managed to escape.

The thieves tried to steal a laptop, but fled the scene when a police patrol arrived. The suspects then ran off into a forest and could not be located despite multiple police patrols launching a search.

A short time later, another break-in was reported on Rue Wecker in Betzdorf. According to reports, an intruder gained access to a gastronomy business, but was caught in the act by the owner and promptly ran away. Police were unable to locate the suspect afterwards.
