According to the police bulletin, a vehicle first crashed into a construction site barrier only to crash into a second – concrete – barrier shortly after the first crash. While nobody was injured as a result of these incidents, the driver of the vehicle turned out to be intoxicated. In addition, they were also subject to a driving ban, and police fined them on the spot.
Police also pulled over a second drunk driver in Luxembourg City on the same evening. The officers issued a fine and confiscated the driving licence.
Two burglaries were reported in Strassen and Heinerscheid. Investigations are still ongoing.
