On Wednesday afternoon, a flat in a residential building on Rue Thoull in Echternach was burgled. According to initial information, as-yet-unknown perpetrators gained access to the property and ransacked it in search of cash and other valuables before fleeing the scene.
A second burglary was reported on Wednesday evening on Rue de la Cimenterie in Beggen. In this case, a flat in another residential building was likely accessed through a smashed window. During their search, the suspect took jewellery and other valuables.
