
The women were caught with stolen items by the shopping centre’s security guards and later arrested by order of the public prosecutor’s office. Both women are thought to have stolen products from the same store two days in a row.
On Sunday, an investigating judge issued an arrest warrant for both women. The items, with a value of around €350, were returned to the shop.
On Friday afternoon, police stopped a man in a café on Rue de Strasbourg, Luxembourg City, on suspicion of dealing drugs. He attracted officers’ attention after entering the café and exhibiting nervous behaviour. Officers searched a nearby rubbish bin and found seven drug packages inside. The man was arrested and brought before magistrates on Saturday.
