Two people have been arrested near Luxembourg City railway station following an altercation that left one person injured.
Police received reports of an injured individual in front of the main entrance to the central railway station at around 11.30am on Tuesday. Upon arriving at the scene, officers found three people, one of whom was lying on the ground with injuries.
According to preliminary information, the injured individual was physically assaulted by two suspects following a verbal altercation between those involved.
The two suspects were found to be heavily inebriated and were taken into custody for assault due to their condition.
