According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), there were two separate road accidents on Tuesday afternoon, one involving a lorry on the N2 and another in Belvaux, resulted in at least one injury and temporary traffic disruptions.
An accident between a lorry and a car occurred on the N2 between Roedt and Assel on Tuesday at around 3pm. According to police at the scene, the driver of the car was taken to the hospital for examination.
The collision brought traffic to a temporary standstill in both directions.
A second accident involving an injury was reported approximately an hour later on Rue de l’Usine in Belvaux, where two cars collided.
Emergency services from Moutfort and Luxembourg City responded to the incident on the N12. The accident in Belvaux was attended to by rescue teams from Sanem-Differdange and Esch-sur-Alzette.
