A first accident was reported at the Irrgarten roundabout near Sandweiler on Friday evening. According to the report, the two cars collided at around 6.30 pm, leaving one person injured. The fire brigade and ambulance service of Luxembourg City were mobilised to assist the victims.
Later that evening, the emergency services were sent to Kinnekswiss park to respond to a rubbish fire that had broken out. The flames had no time to spread and no one was injured.
At around 10.45 pm, a car reportedly hit a wild boar on the CR117 between Grass and Clemency. Fortunately, no one was injured. The Steinfort fire brigade and the ambulance service from Mamer were sent to the scene.
