The police confirmed that eight young trees were destroyed during the night from Saturday to Sunday, all located in Weilwerdangerstrooss. The street in question connected the party space with the official parking of the event.
It was the first time the Summernights have been organised since the beginning of the pandemic.
Furthermore, parts of the crash barrier in the respective street were already damaged the night before. The police therefore issued an appeal for potential witnesses to come forward and contact them via phone (+352 244 871000) or email (police.troisvierges@police.etat.lu).
