PoliceTrain passenger mugged on Wednesday; pickpocket in Lintgen

In Lintgen, a pedestrian was mugged by an unknown woman on Rue Kreuzert on Wednesday afternoon. The woman pretended to know the victim and started a conversation, during which she touched the victim several times. After the encounter, the victim realised their watch was missing.

Police have issued advice on staying safe and protecting against pickpockets and muggers on their website.

At around 3.25pm, a passenger was attacked on a train between Diekirch and Ettelbruck. The aggressor threatened the victim and stole their headphones.

Investigations have been launched into both incidents.
