Disruptions were caused by a rupture of the catenary and significantly affected cross-border workers commuting to the Grand Duchy from France. The national railway company CFL made the announcement on Monday morning.
Buses will replace the train connection while the problems are being resolved. Repairs are expected to last a few hours.
CFL further noted that there could potentially be issues between Troisvierges, Gouvy, Ettelbruck, and Diekirch.
