On Monday morning, the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported a traffic accident, involving two injured people, and two fires that broke out on Sunday evening.

At around 3.50am on Monday, two people were injured in a road accident at the Irrgäertchen roundabout in Luxembourg City. According to CGDIS, a car crashed into a wall on the exit heading towards Findel. RTL noted that police were on site with two patrols to secure the area. A tow truck arrived shortly before 5am.

There were also several call-outs on Sunday evening. At 5pm, an emergency medical service unit from Luxembourg City and an ambulance from Kayl were dispatched to Huncherange, Op Mehlbich, where a fire had broken out in a living room. One person was affected.

A second fire caused only material damage: a blaze in a laundry room at around 6.15pm on Boulevard des Lumières in Esch-sur-Alzette.
