The first incident took place on Friday afternoon along Rue du Fossé in Esch-sur-Alzette. Two individuals were observed engaging in what appeared to be drug dealing from within a vehicle.
The police officers decided to check the vehicle, resulting in one of the men willingly surrendering multiple drug-filled packets.
The second individual, however, raised concerns as he exhibited signs of having ingested some of the substances. To confirm this suspicion, a clinical examination was performed, revealing the presence of several small containers within his body.
Both individuals were subsequently taken into custody, and the authorities seized their phones, money, and the vehicle involved.
In a separate incident on Saturday morning, officers in Luxembourg City noticed a suspicious individual hastily fleeing down Rue Adolphe Fischer.
The officers apprehended the individual and conducted a search, leading to the discovery of two drug-filled packets. Once again, it became apparent that the suspect had swallowed a portion of his illicit goods.
Consequently, the individual was placed under arrest, and his personal belongings were confiscated for further investigation.
