The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) attended two incidents on Thursday morning, as two pedestrians were struck by cars.

According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), a pedestrian was struck by a car on Route de Longwy in Pétange at 7.40pm on Thursday. Another person was injured as a result of the collision.

Esch-sur-Alzette paramedics treated the victims at the scene, accompanied by ambulance crews from Pétange and the Sanem-Differdange emergency services centre.

Later, at 8.20am, another pedestrian was hit by a car on Boulevard Hubert Clement in Esch-sur-Alzette. Local emergency services assisted with the incident.
