
On Friday evening, at around 6.40pm, a head-on collision occurred on the N16 in the direction of Mondorf–Ellange-Gare. Firefighters from Mondorf and an ambulance from Remich were dispatched to the scene, where two injured people were taken to hospital.
Elsewhere, firefighters from Luxembourg City and Hesperange were called to Rue de Bonnevoie following a fire involving an electrical appliance. No injuries were reported.
At around 3.10am on Saturday, firefighters from Esch-sur-Alzette were dispatched to the Um Daich roundabout in Esch-sur-Alzette to assist an injured person after two cars collided under circumstances that remain unclear.
Later in the night, at around 4.45am, a large-scale response was required on Rue Nicolas Adames in Luxembourg City, where a fire broke out in an apartment. Fire and rescue teams from the capital, as well as Sandweiler, Hesperange, and Junglinster, were deployed to extinguish the blaze. According to the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS), no one was injured.
