
At 5.25pm on Wednesday, the two vehicles came together on the CR152 between Burmerange and Mondorf-les-Bains, with three people injured. The emergency medical services and The Grand-Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) crews from Schengen, Remich, Mertert, and Dudelange attended the scene.
A further accident, with one person injured, took place in Mertzig at 12.49am. A car struck a wall there, with local rescue workers and crews from the Nordstad on duty.
From Wednesday into Thursday, three more road accidents were recorded, one between Schumann's Eck and Büderscheid, another between Vichten and Grosbous and a further one in Mertzig. No one was injured in those incidents.
The CGDIS also reported four more fires across the country, again with no injuries.
