Two cars collided between Hivange and Kahler at 7.40am on Friday morning. The road was closed to traffic for some time to allow access to the emergency services.
Yet another collision took place shortly after 10.20, between Lentzweiler and Antoniushof. Two cars were involved in the crash, which left one person injured.
20 minutes later, two more cars collided between Colmar-Berg and Roost, injuring one person.
In the early hours of Friday morning, a motorist lost control of their vehicle in Eich, crashing into a post and flipping the car on its roof. Although the driver emerged without injuries, they tested positive for alcohol and had their licence confiscated.
