On Saturday afternoon, three people were injured in an overturned car, while firefighters tackled several separate blazes across Luxembourg.

The emergency services were called out to several incidents on Saturday.

At around 1pm, a car overturned on the CR162 between Filsdorf and Ellange, leaving three people injured. Firefighters from Mondorf-les-Bains and an ambulance from Remich attended the scene.

A flat caught fire in Rue du Soleil in Steinsel. Fire crews from Steinsel, Mersch, and Luxembourg City were called out at around 3.45pm, along with an ambulance from the capital. No one was injured, although the property sustained damage.

Shortly before 3pm, a hedge caught fire in Rue Victor Hugo in Differdange. Firefighters from the Sanem-Differdange unit carried out the extinguishing work.

Another hedge caught fire at around 3.50pm in Rue Robert Krieps in Pétange, with the local fire service attending.

Shortly after 4pm, a tree caught fire in Avenue de Luxembourg in Bascharage. Firefighters from Käerjeng-Pétange were called to the scene.
