At around 7pm on Sunday, a police patrol encountered a reckless driver exceeding the 30 km/h speed limit on Avenue de la Liberté in Differdange. The subsequent alcohol test came back positive and the motorist was awarded a provisional driving ban.
Shortly after 9pm, another drunk driver was caught in Bettembourg after driving away from a local petrol station in reckless manner. Police revoked the license at the scene.
A third and final drunk driver was stopped on the A7 motorway near Mersch at 11.25pm. The man in question received a fine for his dangerous driving behaviour.
