
On Monday, Luxembourg police made several arrests related to burglary incidents across the region.
Shortly after 6pm, the police issued a warning in the Bettange-sur-Mess and Schouweiler areas following a car break-in. The suspect was located and arrested later that evening on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office. The individual appeared before an examining magistrate on Tuesday morning.
Approximately two hours after the first arrest, police received a report of a break-in at a single-family home on Route de Thionville in Hesperange. Using a canine unit, officers were able to apprehend two suspects at the scene. These individuals also appeared before an examining magistrate on Tuesday afternoon.
Additionally, on the same day, a man was arrested in connection with break-ins at a restaurant and a bar on Rue de Macher in Remich. He was quickly apprehended by officers in the vicinity.
