As the clock strikes midnight, the cost per litre of diesel will shrink to €1.525. With a substantial decrease of 5.2 cents, drivers can look forward to saving €2.60 on a 50-litre tank. The total cost for a full tank of these 50 litres of fuel: €76.25.
This marks the second price reduction of the week, following Wednesday’s drop of 3.7 cents. Diesel makes a comeback as the most budget-friendly fuel in Luxembourg, stealing the spotlight. Meanwhile, petrol prices hold steady, with unleaded 95 maintaining its price at €1.546 per litre, and no changes for SP98.
In a surprising turn, the price of heating fuel also takes a dip, falling below the symbolic €1 mark:
