Hopes of a white Christmas seem to be fading, but some will be happy with this news. Indeed, people who have to work or travel at the end of the year will probably be glad to learn that they will not have to expect snow or ice.

Luxembourg will remain under yellow alert due to cold temperatures through Friday. The alert may be extended through the weekend, depending on meteorological developments.
