This event will lead to the the selection of a Lënster Lycée International School (LLIS) student to speak at the TEDxLuxembourgCity as part of the National Idea competition.
Melissa from Today Radio, talked to some of the students to learn more about how what talks they will be giving, and how this all came about. Listen to their interview here.
LLIS invited TEDxLuxembourgCity curator Dirk Daenen to establish an extracurricular TED-Ed Club at the school. Over the course of the year, twenty dedicated students participated in workshops aimed at sharpening their skills in developing, structuring, and delivering impactful talks. They are even perfecting their social media skills through their Instagram page, as seen below.
Their hard work has led to the upcoming TEDxLLIS Youth, an officially licensed TEDx event, where five selected speakers will present their ideas in front of a live audience at the school’s Halle des Fêtes.
These talks will also be professionally recorded and published on TED.com, giving these young voices a global platform.
