Luxembourg and Belgium have extended the special taxation agreement concerning teleworking from cross-border employees during the health crisis until the end of March 2021.

Staff who are employed in Luxembourg but resident in Belgium may continue to work from home for another three months, while maintaining Luxembourg taxation.

In normal times, cross-border employees are limited to 24 days working from home a year. As a result of the pandemic, this restraint has been scrapped to allow staff to stay at home, avoiding inessential travel.

On Monday, the Luxembourg government signed the same agreement with France.
