As part of targeted searches combating home burglaries, the judicial police branch for the repression of organised crime arrested three individuals on Wednesday afternoon. The suspects, caught in southern Luxembourg, are accused of breaking into multiple properties on previous occasions.
Initial information suggests the three suspects travelled from other countries in order to carry out targeted break-ins in the region.
Coordinated operative searches led the police to the three suspects, who were taken into custody on Wednesday. Their vehicle was also seized by the authorities. The investigation is still ongoing, with the potential for other criminal acts to be uncovered.
