On Sunday, officers conducted a routine check on two individuals who raised suspicions in the Gare neighbourhood. Following the search, police quickly confirmed their suspicions as they discovered a small quantity of heroin on one of the individuals.
The second person later admitted to swallowing eight pellets of heroin. This revelation was substantiated by a subsequent medical scan conducted at the hospital.
The public prosecutor’s office issued an arrest order for the suspected dealer. The individual was presented before an examining magistrate on Monday morning.
