Officers approached the man at around 5pm, at which point he became nervous and attempted to run away. The escape attempt proved futile, as police caught up with the suspected dealer and conducted a search, which yielded 32 packets containing cocaine and heroin.
The drugs were seized, along with the man’s mobile phone and a sum of cash, and the individual was placed under arrest by orders of the public prosecutor’s office.
