Police were alerted to a domestic violence incident in Pétange shortly after 11.20am on Monday.
According to preliminary reports, an argument escalated into a physical assault, after which a man allegedly threatened his wife with a knife.
Officers located and arrested the suspect on the order of the public prosecutor’s office.
