The Luxembourg police have reported several incidents in their latest bulletin.
On Tuesday evening, a brawl involving multiple individuals on Rue Saint-Quirin in Luxembourg City took a dangerous turn when one person produced a firearm.
Following an emergency call, police arrived at the scene and discovered not only the weapon but also drugs in the individual’s possession. Acting on instructions from the public prosecutor’s office, officers conducted a search of the suspect’s home, where additional drugs were found. The individual was subsequently arrested and brought before an examining magistrate on Wednesday afternoon.
In a separate incident on Tuesday afternoon, police received reports of pickpocketing in Luxembourg City. Officers quickly located two suspects near the central railway station. During a search, they recovered two mobile phones that the individuals had in their possession. Both suspects were arrested and presented to an examining magistrate on Wednesday.
