New scam attempts have been made by fraudsters impersonating well-known supermarket chain Cactus.

Impersonators of Cactus employees are sending out fake emails and calls, announcing to their victims that they have won a competition. These are, of course, false pretexts, and the emails have been identified as phishing.

The supermarket chain has specifically confirmed that they would never ask to receive bank data from their clients, and all competitions are handled through their website.
