The fog will give way to sunshine throughout the day, although as evening draws in, so too do the clouds. With rain forecast overnight, motorists are reminded to exercise vigilance in case of black ice, as temperatures will still fall below freezing.
Morning temperatures will start off at -8 to -6°C, rising no higher than 0°C in the afternoon, before dropping slightly to -1 to 1°C in the evening.
