Luxembourg is one step ahead of the rest when it comes to bargains. The country is starting its summer sales a few days earlier than its neighbours.
The 2023 summer sales start on Saturday 24 June and run for four weeks, ending on Saturday 22 July 2023.
Consumers in the Grand Duchy will therefore be among the first in the Greater Region to be able to take advantage of the sales. It will also be an opportunity to catch up with inflation on clothing and footwear: according to the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (STATEC), prices have risen by 5.58% over one year.
The next place to look for bargains is across the border. In France, summer sales begin on Wednesday 28 June 2023. They will also end four weeks later, on Tuesday 25 July.
Belgium will be the last country to open its sales next Saturday, July 1, until the end of the month.
