The elected members of the Dei Lénk party submitted parliamentary question in this context, especially to find out how many requests had been submitted to the competent services.

In their joint response, the Minister of the Environment, Carole Dieschbourg, and the Minister of Housing, Henri Kox, specified that since 1 June 2020, 570 requests had been filed. The subsidy is in principle obtained on the basis of energy advice.

The planning of such a project takes time, underline the two ministers, but the first requests, which could benefit from the bonus of "Neistart Lëtzebuerg", are now being treated.

The aid granted in recent months mainly concerns projects put on track before the launch of the "Neistart Lëtzebuerg" programme, but over the last nine months 217 energy renovation projects have been approved, as well as 514 aid projects for the installation of heating systems based on renewable energy sources.

Then, there were 266 subsidies for photovoltaic installations and 1,150 subsidies for passive houses or apartments.

This all adds up to €10,7 million, including €2,2 million for energy purification, €1,9 million for heating systems based on renewable energies, €1 million for photovoltaic installations and €5,6 million in the context of new constructions.

Between 1 January 2017 and 12 January 2021, 28 requests for a zero-interest climate loan have been filed. Three were granted, 13 files are still being verified and the other requests have been refused.

There have been more requests for a reduced rate climate loan. Of 221, 98 were granted, 13 were refused and more than 100 files are still being verified.
